WVDXA Meeting Notice

DX'ers,

     The March Meeting of the WVDXA is scheduled for this SATURDAY, March 11th, at 4:00 p.m.  The location is Uno's Chicago Grill just off the Winfield/Teays Valley exit of I-64.  The room will seat 25+ people and there is no charge for the room if we order food (but I think they do put a 15% gratuity on the check.)  If you are not familiar with Uno's, you can check them out (including their menu) here:

<http://www.unos.com>

     However, do NOT use their online Map or Directions as they are incorrect.  Simply exit Interstate 64 at Exit 39 (the same exit as for the Putnam County Library) but turn SOUTH (the library was North of the Interstate.)  There will be an Exxon on the right and a Hampton Inn behind it.  After you pass the Exxon, turn right directly toward the Hampton Inn and make a left just in front of the hotel.  Uno's is actually behind the Go-Mart.

     So far I have not heard anything about a program.  If anyone would like to step up and present something, now is the time.  The meeting room has a projection screen and Internet access so if you would like to show the rest of us how you use the World Wide Web to enhance your DX'ing, I'm sure there would be many interested parties.

     The National Weather Service prediction for Saturday is:

Saturday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

     See ya'll Saturday!
